Celebration for the Graduation and opening ceremony

Kandal Province 08 April 2013: Caritas is celebrating a graduation for 289 of students who took skills from Caritas Youth Development Program in Kandal province. The celebration marks another success of the training program which partly contributes to the eradication of poverty in the country. Some 304 participants of whom 104 female witness the ceremony are students, parents, teachers, NGO partners and government officers. Mr. Tep Oeurn, deputy director of department of the labor and vocational training of the MOSALVY presides over event along with Bishop Enrique Figaredo Chairman of Caritas Cambodia, Mr. Isao Todokoro general executive of Caritas Japan, Mr. Kim Ratana Executive Director of Caritas Cambodia, and Mr. Nou Sovannara deputy of Kandal town. Inauguration of comprehensive services

New building facility.

January 23, 2013 is an inauguration of comprehensive services for children with special needs presided by Excellency Dr. Mam Bun Heng, the Minister for Health, at Caritas Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (Caritas-CCAMH), Chey Chumneas Referral Hospital, Kandal Province.
This new building facility comprising of the following services: service to promote activities for daily living, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, art and music therapy, remedial education and structured teaching, early intervention, speech and language therapy, library, research and documentation, and parent empowerment program — with Kim Rattana and Enrique Figaredo Alvargonzalez.

New Course for Cambodian Rural and Poor Youth Boys and Girls

Youth Development Program of Caritas Kandal Regional office is pleased to announce its vocational training courses in the year 2013. With an effort to poverty alleviation in Cambodia, Caritas’s Youth Development Program is receiving application form from youth group especially the poor and rural based youth, and those who are not afford to higher education also with no specific skills to continue a 1 year vocational training course in the New Year 2013.
